Engr. Barry Esimone is a 1984 graduate of University of Ilorin in Civil Engineering and also holds a master’s degree in civil-Geotechnical Engineering from University of Benin in 1988.

He is a professional engineer registered by COREN and in good standing with several professional engineering bodies both locally and internationally. A Fellow of Nigeria Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow of Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineer (FNICE), and Fellow of Nigeria Geotechnical Association (FNIGA), Member International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (MISSMGE ), Member American Society of Civil Engineers (MASCE) and Member National Association of Corrosion Engineers, (MNACE).

His career spans over 30 years in various organizations , including SHELL, Exon Mobil , Chevron , NESTOIL , SEPLAT before joining SG HOLDINGS as ED – Engineering and Shipping Management Services.

In the last 25 years , he has successfully delivered projects Upstream and Downstream sectors of Nigerian Energy Sector especially to performance sensitive organizations like SHELL. He has also prepared successful prequalification , technical and commercial packages on several technical assignments in oil and gas. He also organized and led the oil and gas industry team from Nigeria that comprises SHELL , ELF , AGIP and NAPIMS to Russia for certification of TMK Mill.
